Join us for a one-hour book club discussion moderated by NextNW Board Member Lauren Ridgley (CEO of Left Hand Agency) as we explore Byron Sharp’s influential book How Brands Grow.
Although first published over a decade ago, Sharp’s research continues to challenge traditional marketing assumptions — especially as performance marketing and loyalty programs dominate today’s landscape. His evidence-based findings reveal that brand growth depends more on reaching new customers and maximizing brand availability than solely focusing on loyalty and repeat purchases.
This session is designed for members who want to sharpen their approach to brand building and engage in thoughtful conversation with peers across industries.

- Participants will need to purchase their own copy of How Brands Grow.
- There will be one moderated session, one hour long.
Recommended Reading Pace: 5–10 pages per day over 6–8 weeks to complete the book before the event.
