About NextNW
NextNW is a dynamic organization dedicated to fostering growth and innovation within the Great Northwest’s marketing, media, and creative industries. We connect professionals, brands, and technology partners through networking events, learning workshops, awards programs, and sponsorship opportunities. By volunteering with NextNW, you’ll help build a thriving creative community, drive engagement, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that empower professionals and brands across the region. Our membership is based across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, British Columbia and Alberta.

Role Summary
Help NextNW maintain a strong and consistent visual presence across digital and print materials. This role includes creating graphics for newsletters, blog posts, social media, events, sponsorship materials, and general branding needs.

Key Responsibilities
Design social media graphics, event graphics, and blog visuals
Create visually appealing assets for a variety of uses from event signage to sponsorship decks
Help elevate the design/look of the NextNW website
Creation of identity pieces for marquis NextNW events
Ensure design continuity across all owned and social media channels
Develop event signage, sponsorship decks, and promotional materials
Ensure brand consistency across all NextNW marketing materials using existing brand guidelines
Work collaboratively with the marketing and sponsorship teams to bring creative ideas to life
Use existing assets and templates to create required collateral as assigned
Ideal for: A creative professional with experience in graphic design, branding, or digital marketing. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma is a plus.

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a passion for marketing, media, and creative industries.
A creative professional with experience in graphic design, branding, or digital marketing. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma is a plus.
Is comfortable using digital collaboration tools (Slack, Google Drive, event registration platforms, etc.).
Can commit to the duration of the role
